A chlorophyll deficiency in a plant would technically be a form of albinism, same as a melanin deficiency in mammals would make them albino. No one said that the strain is called “albino bud”, they said “This is AN albino bud” as in a bud that is albino, as in a bud that has a lack of chlorophyll.
